DAVID HOLLINGSHEAD, DTM
SECOND YEAR INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR

Dave is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) within Toastmasters International. Dave has served as District 84 governor which services 4,000 members in 180 clubs within North and Central Florida. He was also elected to the Board of Directors for Toastmasters International for the period of 2010 to 2012.

Dave is a Senior Vice President at Bank of America where he has been employed the past 30 years. He currently is part of the Quality and Change Delivery group, focused on identifying causes of failures in the Mortgage group and driving out corrective actions.
Dave joined Toastmasters in March 2000 and quickly recognized the value it could add to his career.  Serving as a Project Manager, he found himself spending a significant portion of his time on conference calls with large groups of people from across the country.  He recognized that Toastmasters would clearly help improve his communications skills.  A very specific incident occurred a year later, where his Toastmasters training attracted executive management attention and resulted in a significant boost to his career.  The skills he developed through his Toastmasters experience and the confidence that resulted from it have allowed him to continue this progress.
